The late Masanobu Fukuoka was a well-known Japanese farmer who help rekindle natural farming methods or ‘do nothing’ farming worldwide. To Fukuoka there is no substitute of ‘simplicity’, even in a modern age of high technology and complexity of living at home.

Fukuoka moves toward simplicity by imitating nature instead of relying solely on technology. He develops a philosophy and techniques that allow nature to do most of the work in his farm and wrote a book about his method of natural farming call ‘One Straw Revolution’.
